VIP and Private Care

A closed clinic and bespoke care, built around you and your schedule

Athletes, performers, executives and people in public life come to London Cartilage Clinic for joint problems they would rather solve quietly. The clinic can be reserved for you, imaging happens on the same visit, and nobody is ever named.

How a private clinic day works

How private care works here

Discretion is the default, not an upgrade

Nobody is named

The clinic does not say who it treats, in print, online or in conversation. These pages describe kinds of patient, never people.

The clinic can be closed for you

Half a day or a full day at 66 Harley Street with no other patients booked, subject to availability.

Your schedule sets the timetable

Sessions early or late, imaging directly before the consultation, treatment timed to a season, a production or a diary.

One person handles everything

A single coordinator for the diary, your records, transfers and The Landmark London, reachable directly by you or whoever you nominate.

Private clinic days

A closed clinic, built around you and your schedule

For patients who need discretion, or simply need everything to happen in one visit, the clinic can be set aside for half a day or a full day. You arrive, you are scanned, you see Professor Lee, and you leave with a decision.

What does not change

A different door, the same clinic

Private care changes the setting and the schedule. It does not buy a different answer. That is what makes it worth having.

  • The same surgeon. Professor Lee leads every consultation and every procedure.
  • The same honesty. If the right advice is to wait, or to do nothing, that is what you will hear.
  • The same treatments. Joint-preserving options first, with surgery where it is genuinely the better answer.
  • The same price basis. Direct pay, quoted in writing after assessment, with no premium hidden in the clinical care.

Authority

The surgeon you are choosing

Patients who could go anywhere are choosing between a small number of world specialists. This is the person you would be seeing.

  • Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and medical engineer, PhD
  • Internationally published in cartilage repair and joint preservation, cited over 1,000 times
  • Lead of an ICRS teaching centre for cartilage regeneration
  • Joint-replacement outcomes recorded in the National Joint Registry, within the expected range
  • Member of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK)

Private and VIP care

Questions we are asked

Do I have to be a public figure to ask for private care?

No. The closed clinic sessions and the single-coordinator model are for anyone who needs discretion or needs everything to happen in one visit. Many patients who ask for them are simply busy.

Is VIP care different clinically?

No. The setting, the schedule and the privacy change. The clinical standard, the surgeon and the advice are the same for every patient London Cartilage Clinic sees.

Will the clinic ever say that I was treated here?

No. Nobody is named in any public material and the clinic does not comment on who it treats. Records are shared only on your instruction.

I am travelling from abroad. Where do I start?

Start with the international patients hub for the travel, imaging and insurance picture, then speak to the coordinator about a closed session. The two work together.

How do I arrange it?

Call or email the clinic. A coordinator will ask what you need and the dates you have, and come back to you with a written proposal before anything is booked.
